Our Story

Co-founded in 2020 by Sharon Yip, CPA, and Phil Gaudiano, CPA, Chainwise CPA, a trade name of Polygon Advisory Group, was born from the shared passion of two seasoned tax practitioners with extensive backgrounds in serving crypto clients. Both licensed CPAs in Virginia, Sharon and Phil first collaborated in 2016 within the corporate tax department of a Fortune 500 company. After leaving the corporation, they each established their own successful tax practices and began an informal partnership in 2018. This collaboration eventually led to the formation of Chainwise CPA, driven by their shared vision and synergy.

Recognizing the revolutionary impact of blockchain and cryptocurrencies, Chainwise CPA specializes in providing tailored accounting and tax services for individuals and businesses in the crypto ecosystem.
